Kangaroo Express’ Salute Our Troops campaign is back for a second year to help the USO. The campaign — which goes from June 27 through September 4 — invites guests of 1,600 Kangaroo Express stores across 13 states to donate funds to support the USO’s mission of lifting the spirits of troops and their families. To help raise awareness and excitement, they’ve sent out a caravan on tour featuring custom patriotic vehicles – including a very special motorcycle.

Romy Camargo is a motorcycle enthusiast and loved hopping on his Harley for a long ride. But after he was paralyzed in Afghanistan, he has decided to raffle off his prized bike, with proceeds from the raffle tickets going to various charities.

Rumola “Romy” Comargo was born on September 28, 1975. Romy entered the U.S. Army on April 6, 1995. Romy met Gabriela met in Venezuela 24 years ago and were married on September 30, 2006. CW2 Comargo has served with the 7th Special Froces Group, 1st Battallion, 75th Ranger Regiment. CW2 Comargo’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (2OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (MSM, 1OLC), Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM, 2OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal (JSAM), Ranger Tab, Special Forces Tab and Master Parachutist Badge.
